Preparing for an Interview [PI4]
In day 4 of a 30 days series we explore appropriate responses to the interview question:
Why should I hire you?
This is another of the questions guaranteed to be asked. Your response could make or break the interview. You can be assured the interviewer has heard all of the typical responses you are sure to have read on the internet or in a book. This response needs to be sincere and specific to you.
Do not go into the interview without rereading the job description carefully. Compare the job description with your abilities and skills. Highlight what you have accomplished in your other positions. Be positive and attract their attention towards your abilities, your experience, and your energy. Also show your interest in the company and the position.
This is your opportunity to sell yourself. Make the most of it.
